Who We Are
We are a leading demolition and groundworks contractor operating throughout the South East. Originally a small groundworks company working locally to Hastings, The Blackford Group has expanded over the past 10 years and now, in addition to groundworks, offer a wide range of services including demolition, strip out, asbestos removal and site decontamination, earthworks, concrete crushing and general waste disposal.
We are happy to undertake anything from large commercial projects to small private developments, whilst operating as either Principal Contractor or Sub-Contractor.
We employ a conscientious, skilled and motivated work force who all share the same ethos, which enables us to operate with a high standard of workmanship. All our staff are CSCS/CCDO card holders and have relevant qualifications in their specific fields. We update our training regularly.
We are DBS checked, CIS registered and hold Public Liability Insurance of up to £10,000,000.
We aim to be sustainable and recycle as much as possible on each project, including crushing demolition hard core and concrete to produce reusable aggregates. To this end, we operate a comprehensive fleet of plant and HGVs.
