Beacon Ward, St Helier Hospital, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton SM5 1AA
Beacon Ward was a redundant building sited in the middle of St Helier Hospital, a very busy hospital. Access was very restricted, with all plant and vehicles having to move to and from the site under the control of a banksman.
The building was carefully demolished and the arisings cleared in a controlled manner, safely and successfully within a tight programme.
